Jim Corbett national park lays on the Himalayan foothills, and winter hosting my target for this trip: The monotype family of Ibisbill. Visit Uttarakhand is relatively easy, and the park located a few hours drive from New Delhi international airport. The Ibisbill located outside the park, near its traditional spot on the river bank beside Girija Devi Temple.

My first attempt, 2 years earlier, on the streams of Nameri national park failed (on the remote Indian state Assam), probably due a wrong timing: (seen until around March 27th, we arrived on the 30th). This was also a good opportunity to improve the photos of Crested Treeswift, and to take Common Iora photo which was seen in the past, but not photographed.
